Room 10 made their own gold medals during art. The trickiest part was to get the medal the right thickness. It was fun to design our own medals, and it felt good to hang it around our necks. Perhaps, one day, one of us can represent NZ during the Olympics.
Kia Ora my name is Azaria and I think those medals are pretty. How did you make them? Think about how to have the photos without the white on it.
ReplyDeleteHi students of Room 10, thanks for sharing your work on making medals with me. What I really like is that the medals look so real. It is as if you were making them for the real Olympic Games. I watched the medal ceremonies, did you? Maybe you could explain what materials you used for the medal, like an ingredient list. Look forward to seeing more of your creations on this blog.
ReplyDeleteHi my name is Riley and those medals look so realistic. I like how you put some detail on them and made them look cool. Just a question, how did you make them? I’d really like to try and make some myself.
ReplyDeleteKind regards
Riley
Hi room 10 I really like this post, I also think if one of us really wanted to represent NZ they have to train very hard for the Olympics. Did anyone tell you how thick the medal was suppose to be? Maybe you might want to add some more detail to your post. I also really like how you have used different colored ribbons and it actually looks realistic, just like the real Olympic gold medals.
