Wow Room 10, thank you for sharing your dried meat making process. Before I watched your video, I didn't know how to do this. However, with your very clear directions and pictures, I think I could now dry my own meat. One question though, where do I get a biltong box from?
ReplyDeleteWow Room 10!!
ReplyDeleteThank you fro sharing your experience in the meat making process. Before
I didn't even know about this. I like the pictures and it is nice and clear in what you did. Didn't you get put off by the taste of it? I like the video!!

Hello room 10,
ReplyDeleteGood job on the dried meat, though the slides could be a little slower just so we can have a better read. But overall very good slide and its good that you want to take some home for your family members.
Kind regards Blake

Hi Room 10,
ReplyDeleteIt is so awesome that you have learning about this and I would like to try it but I do sort of have a weak stomach so I'd better not try it. I think when it is all finished it looks a bit like dark chocolate or black licorice YUM!! If this is how they had to live in the older days I think I would dye of starvation because I cant handle 10 mins of not eating so imagine 3-4 days of not eating any meat because it has to dry and be ready to eat and not go off. How long did this process take you?

Hello Room 10,
ReplyDeleteLooks yum! Wish we could make that at school I bet you couldn't wait to eat that meat after 3 days and it clearly tasted yum! Did you know red meat is good for your body?
And when you hung them was there a set temperature for the meat to dry.

Morena Room 10,
ReplyDeleteIt was great to see that you have shared your learning in such a creative way. I like how you have used a combination of photos, words and music to tell your story. I think I would be one of the ones who wouldn't like dried meat, in fact I don't think I would even try it! I haven't eaten meat for a very long time. I do know some people who LOVE it though so I am sure they would like to try and make their own. Your instructions will be perfect for them to follow. What kind of meat did you use?
Tania
Hi Room 10.
ReplyDeleteThis dried meat looks yum! I have tried it but I wish I still had some.
I wish that we could make some at our school. What type of meat did you have and where did you hang them, did you have a set temperature for them.
Hey Room 10,
ReplyDeleteThat looks so delicious, I love beef jerky!
Was it fun to make?
What was your favourite part when you made it?
