Golden Time: Treasure Hunt

We have a class goal of reaching 500 points on the class dojo. We get dojo points if we demonstrate our school values of Aroha, Ako, Maanakitanga and overall Mana.
Last week we managed to earn a few golden time minutes and used it to have a little treasure hunt. We asked two Year 6 children to hide the golden egg and hearts in the forest. They did such a good job if it that we could only manage to find 18 of the 24. It was great fun. In the beginning everybody thought it would be easy but soon realised that they had to really look carefully everywhere and that slowing down was a better option than rushing.

  1. Kia ora Room 10 learners,

I'm impressed that you earned so many dojo points. What a creative way to use your golden time minutes. Have you tried a treasure hunt online? We might be able to do this in week 11 when I am in your classroom again.
